Privacy policy

Glass Rose (glassrose.io) is a digital gift. You buy a private card with a 3D rose that the recipient opens in a browser. Nothing is made of glass, and nothing is shipped.

There are no user accounts. The secret gift link is how someone opens the card. Questions: contact@glassrose.io.

When you compose a gift, we store what you type:

• Your name and the recipient’s name
• Your message, occasion, and rose color
• How you want to share it: email, phone, or a private link
• Recipient email, if you chose email
• Recipient phone number, if you chose phone (we do not text yet)
• An optional voice note (up to 60 seconds)

When you pay, Stripe handles the card. We never see the full card number. Stripe sends us your receipt email and payment IDs so we can mark the gift paid and, if needed, email you the link.

We use this information only to:

• Create the gift card and take payment
• Email the recipient when you choose email delivery
• Email you the gift link if that recipient email fails
• Show you a receipt with the truth about what we sent
• Handle a refund if you ask for one

We do not sell this information. We do not run ads on it.

A few services run the product for us:

• Stripe — payment
• Supabase — the gift record and the private voice-note file
• Resend — email
• Vercel — hosting the website

Anyone who has the gift link can open the rose, read the message, and play the voice note. Treat that link like a password.

Paid gifts stay. The product is the lasting card. Voice notes stay with the gift in a private storage folder and play through a short-lived link.

Unpaid drafts (someone started a gift and did not finish paying) can be deleted after 24 hours, including any voice file attached to them.

Glass Rose is a paid gift for adults. It is not directed at children under 13. If you think we stored a child’s information, email contact@glassrose.io.
